Spiuk Volare Triathlon Bike Frame

Working together with such professional triathlon athletes as Iván Raña, Ana Burgos, and Xavi Llobet, the Spiuk engineering team created this frame, one specifi cally designed for the triathlon. It is manufactured from our special tripleconed, Alulite 7.3 ultra-series alloy, with high-module carbon fibre rear braces. The basic goal in the design of this bicycle was to create a comfortable position for the triathlon athlete, as well as to come up with a carefully thought out arrangement in the form of the different tubes, in order to assure excellent aerodynamics. The saddle is angled at 76 degrees - the optimum position for triathlon geometry. This allows the athlete the maximum use of his physical capabilities. A rear tube of only 38 cm assures excellent transmission of force, converting each push of the pedal into an authentic explosion of power.

Applying their SRTrac geometry to the practice of the triathlon, Spiuk have managed to come up with an almost perfect aerodynamic position, as well as a degree of rigidity and ease of use until now unknown. After many hours of wind tunnel analysis and an exhaustive study of films of triathlon athletes, they offer this product. It features the Volare frame, sure to provide the greatest comfort and efficiency with each push of the pedal.
