Liam Neenan GSR
Sport Rehabilitator and Sport Massage Therapist
Specialising in Musculoskeletal Injuries
Liam is now at our clinic between Wednesdays and Saturdays having previously worked with a Super League Rugby club, GAA and Soccer Clubs in the UK and also individually with Triathletes and Marathon runners.
This experience has given Liam a valuable understanding of how the body should work and what demands sports can place on it and believes that treating an injury does not end when the patient gets off the treatment table. Such being the case he believes that some injuries provide the athlete with an opportunity to retrain the weaker parts of the system so that when rehab is finished the athlete can return to competition a better and stronger athlete.
Liam is also a keen athlete himself and has represented his county in three different sports underage. He has won Senior Club and Provincial Titles in hurling with his home town and also an Oscar Traynor Medal representing Limerick in soccer.
