A & D UA767 Plus Blood Pressure Monitor

The UA-767 Plus blood pressure monitor incorporates the latest technology for accurate measurements at home and is the newest model by A&D. It is one of the highest rated BP Monitors in European clinical tests.
The One Step Plus Memory monitor is fully automatic and inflates to the correct pressure each time a measurement is taken.
The monitor stores the last 30 readings in memory and also displays average readings. The average reading feature automatically calculates the average of the total readings stored in memory.

The differences between the UA-767 and the UA-767 PLUS are as follows:

1. UA-767 PLUS has Irregular Heartbeat Indicator(IHB)
2. UA-767 PLUS Blood Pressure Classification Indicator according to WHO 6 stage Classification

5. UA-767 PLUS has Fuzzy Logic – this means the monitor takes the reading as it inflates and stops inflating the cuff when it has sufficient info. The UA-767 has 4 pressure presets of 150/180/210/240 which you manually select (normally you would choose your expected systolic reading and add 40 to establish which preset.)

Both units have been validated to the British Hypertension Society rating of A/A (this is the highest possible rating meaning both the Systolic and the Diastolic are accurate to within 5 mmHg). Grade B (10mmHg) is acceptable – however C (15mmHg) is not.

• Consecutive readings testing the previous reading are a complete NO-NO. The subsequent readings are usually progressively lower. Normally it takes about 15 minutes for the BP to settle back after the constriction applied to get the first reading.
